Service Description

A creative writing camp where rhythm meets imagination and every child becomes a poet. In Poetry In Motion, kids ages 9-12 will explore the powerful and playful world of poetry. From silly rhymes and sensory writing to shape poems, metaphors, and emotional storytelling. Each camper will discover how to express their thoughts, feelings, and unique voice through words. Over five days, we'll blend poetry lessons with games, outdoor writing prompts, art-infused activities, and quiet reflection time. Campers will write 1-2 original poems, and they will be published in our end-of-week printed anthology, a beautiful book they'll take home and treasure. This camp is perfect for: Kids who love to write or want to learn. Creative thinkers, sensitive souls, or deep feelers. Young storytellers looking to build confidence and community. Include: Creative workbook Daily snack break (parent supplied) Printed book Certification of completion Optional poetry reading on the last day. Party to receive the book and be able to sign the authors' copies. (Will be on a later date than the end of the camp due to printing the book.)
