Submission Terms and Conditions

By submitting your manuscript to Oak & Ink Publishing, you agree to the following terms:

Original Work: You affirm that the manuscript and materials you are submitting are your original work and that you hold the rights to publish and distribute content.
Rights & Ownership: Submission does not constitute a publishing agreement. You retain full rights to your work unless and until a formal publishing contract is offered and accepted by both parties.
Review Process: Oak & Ink Publishing carefully and intentionally reviews all submissions. Due to the volume of submissions, we cannot guarantee feedback or acceptance. Response times may vary, but we aim to reply within 6-8 weeks.
Confidentiality: All submissions are treated as confidential and will not be shared outside of Oak & Ink's internal editorial team without your written permission.
Editing & Collaborating: If accepted, all manuscripts will undergo professional editing. As a publishing house rooted in collaboration, we value your voice and will work with you to strengthen your story.
Content Guidelines: We celebrate bold, healing, and truth-filled stories. However, Oak & Ink reserves the right to decline work that promotes hate, abuse, or discrimination of any kind.
Non-Compensation For Submission: Submission is free and does not entitle you to compensation unless a publishing contract is signed.
